Say hello to this good looking family!

I met Brad through mutual cycling friends from IU back in 2004 and became reacquainted when I met Emily six years ago upon just moving to Denver.  It was so much fun to reconnect with this bunch this past weekend and catch up on life.

Emily is an awesome momma to two adorable blonde babes and owner of Mile High Pilates where she teaches out of her home or at a client’s home studio. She’s also your go-to for all things essential oils! Brad spends his days building and growing some pretty sweet commercial real estate projects in Colorado and is the “cool dad” in the neighborhood as he knows just the right time to break out the jumpy castle.

Enjoy these fun summer-like pics during one of those classic 75-degree February days.

These photos are extra special to me as they are of my family on Matt’s side. While we would have loved to have a foot of the white stuff on Christmas morning it was actually a blessing in disguise to have warm temperatures and the sun peaking through the Midwest clouds. I loved capturing my niece Lily’s seven year old silly spirit and the smiles between the jumps for my spunky four year old nephew Rhett. For my little one June and niece Eleanor it was full-on toddler mode so letting them wiggle it out is always the best way to snag a cute glance.

These two siblings really love each other.

“Look at me!” (as she runs on the dock while I freak out behind the camera)

It was June’s first trip to Pops and Grandma’s house in Ft. Wayne and so much fun to spend quality time at Matt’s childhood home.

Mother daughter lovin’

Lily is all smiles, except when it’s a competition to see how long she can hold a serious face.

Something about this one reminds me of Charlie Brown.

Liz, these photos are beatuiful! You truly captured the moment!ReplyCancel

It’s been a hot minute since I tossed a blog out there – whew! No time like the present to start sharing some of the wonderful friends-turned-photography-clients that I’ve been able to capture over the past few months.

I absolutely love family photo sessions and always find it a ton of fun to capture a multi-generational bunch. Thank you Jess, for allowing me to capture you, Derek and Griffin plus your brother’s family and your parents!

I have loved spending time with Jess and Derek as our kiddos are just shy of four months apart. Cheers to being great parents of a one year old!

A handsome crew.

Brothers and cousins.

A whole lotta love for this kiddo.

Griffin = pure boy.

A big congratulations to Matt and Kristin – what a weekend to remember! I had a blast at this beach wedding, especially as I could just snap photos for fun. Enjoy these pics from my perspective as a guest!

The night before Kristin and Matt said their vows in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico they treated all of their friends and family to the most amazing sunset cruise, filled with bottomless margaritas and tequila sunrises (watch out!), delicious (and spicy) tacos, mother and baby humpback whales breaching with delight, and a tour of the Sea of Cortez that we will all never forget.

Kristin commented a couple nights ago, “I wish I could go back and relive the party on the cruise all over again!” I do too. It was a night to remember, and the wedding weekend was just getting started! More to come from their wedding…
